Information for data subjects in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Corint Media GmbH (hereinafter „Corint Media“) is taking privacy of its business partners and employees very seriously. Hence, we comply with the provisions set out by the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) as well as any other provision regarding the protection of data subjects. In line with the principle of data minimisation, we are collecting, processing and saving as little personal data as necessary, in accordance with Art. 5 GDPR. In consequence, Corint Media is only processing personal data when and if it is necessary for performing the tasks entrusted to us by our rights holders.

Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis

We process personal data if

  1. either the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purpose(s) in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1, clause 1, subsection a) of the GDPR, or
  2. processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, clause 1, subsection b) of the GDPR. A transfer of personal data to external agents might also become necessary for certain contractually stipulated purposes, e.g. commissioning a debt collecting agency.

Beyond that, we do only process personal data for the purpose of

  1. compliance with legal obligations (Article 6, paragraph 1, clause 1, subsection c) of the GDPR)
  2. protecting the vital interests of the person concerned or of another natural person (Article 6, paragraph 1, clause 1, subsection d) of the GDPR)
  3. performing a task carried out in the public interest (Article 6, paragraph 1, clause 1, subsection e) of the GDPR), or,
  4. the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, except where such interests are outweighed by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the person concerned is a child (Article 6, paragraph 1, clause 1, subsection f) of the GDPR).

Logging your visit/Use of functionality cookies

General Provisions

Functionality cookies are automatically set upon accessing our website. Functionality cookies are small text files that are downloaded onto your device when you visit a website. They remain there until your next visit of the website and will be deleted subsequently. These cookies contain an alphanumeric string which may enable our website to recognise your browser (but not your identity) when you make a return visit.

Extent and Purpose of Processing

We process personal data for following purposes:
