Infor­ma­ti­on for data sub­jects in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 of the EU’s Gene­ral Data Pro­tec­tion Regu­la­ti­on (GDPR)

Corint Media GmbH (her­ein­af­ter „Corint Media“) is taking pri­va­cy of its busi­ness part­ners and employees very serious­ly. Hence, we com­ply with the pro­vi­si­ons set out by the EU’s Gene­ral Data Pro­tec­tion Regu­la­ti­on (GDPR), the Ger­man Fede­ral Data Pro­tec­tion Act (Bun­des­da­ten­schutz­ge­setz) as well as any other pro­vi­si­on regar­ding the pro­tec­tion of data sub­jects. In line with the prin­ci­ple of data mini­mi­sa­ti­on, we are coll­ec­ting, pro­ces­sing and saving as litt­le per­so­nal data as neces­sa­ry, in accordance with Art. 5 GDPR. In con­se­quence, Corint Media is only pro­ces­sing per­so­nal data when and if it is neces­sa­ry for per­forming the tasks ent­rus­ted to us by our rights hol­ders.

Pur­po­se of Pro­ces­sing and Legal Basis
We pro­cess per­so­nal data if

  1. eit­her the data sub­ject has given con­sent to the pro­ces­sing of his or her per­so­nal data for one or more spe­ci­fic purpose(s) in accordance with Artic­le 6 para­graph 1, clau­se 1, sub­sec­tion a) of the GDPR, or
  2. pro­ces­sing is neces­sa­ry for the per­for­mance of a con­tract to which the data sub­ject is par­ty, or in order to take steps at the request of the data sub­ject pri­or to ente­ring into a con­tract in accordance with Artic­le 6, para­graph 1, clau­se 1, sub­sec­tion b) of the GDPR. A trans­fer of per­so­nal data to exter­nal agents might also beco­me neces­sa­ry for cer­tain con­trac­tual­ly sti­pu­la­ted pur­po­ses, e.g. com­mis­sio­ning a debt coll­ec­ting agen­cy.

Bey­ond that, we do only pro­cess per­so­nal data for the pur­po­se of

  1. com­pli­ance with legal obli­ga­ti­ons (Artic­le 6, para­graph 1, clau­se 1, sub­sec­tion c) of the GDPR)
  2. pro­tec­ting the vital inte­rests of the per­son con­cer­ned or of ano­ther natu­ral per­son (Artic­le 6, para­graph 1, clau­se 1, sub­sec­tion d) of the GDPR)
  3. per­forming a task car­ri­ed out in the public inte­rest (Artic­le 6, para­graph 1, clau­se 1, sub­sec­tion e) of the GDPR), or,
  4. the legi­ti­ma­te inte­rests pur­sued by us or by a third par­ty, except whe­re such inte­rests are out­weig­hed by the inte­rests or fun­da­men­tal rights and free­doms of the data sub­ject which requi­re pro­tec­tion of per­so­nal data, in par­ti­cu­lar whe­re the per­son con­cer­ned is a child (Artic­le 6, para­graph 1, clau­se 1, sub­sec­tion f) of the GDPR).

Log­ging your visit/Use of func­tion­a­li­ty coo­kies

Gene­ral Pro­vi­si­ons:
